At mubu we love meeting the needs of our clients and absolutely loved customising our Markus Bed and our Asta Bedside Tables, both elevated with much higher legs and finished in a stunning smoked oak to blend in with their dark floorboards. Our client didn’t want a gap between the slats and the leather headboard so that gap was filled with a solid timber insert giving it a very cosy and enclosed look.New leg heights were reached on both the bed and bedsides to achieve an overall height of 55cm. Deducting the depth of the mattress, we worked our way backwards to achieve the perfect frame / slat height. Here is a little bit more about these 2 gorgeous product designs:
