The Decor + Design Tradeshow is opening its doors in Melbourne today 13th of July! We are super excited to share the work of Karie Soehardi of Circular Design Thinking and her team who curated the Green Design Hub - an installation reflecting a collective desire for conscious living and sustainability. Every detail of the stand has been carefully crafted with reuse, recycling, and upcycling in mind.
We are thrilled to share that our Millie Bed will be showcased at the Green Design Hub! The Green Design Hub offers a curated journey where sustainability and beauty intertwine.
With easy dismantling and minimal environmental impact in mind, each component of the installation tells stories of transformation.
It was an honour for us to craft a Millie bed for the exhibition and sit alongside other talented contributors, eco-friendly furniture makers and innovative material suppliers - a call to drive the sustainability movement and inspire us all to make conscious choices.
Every showcased piece at the Green Design Hub is delivered carbon neutral, emphasising the commitment to minimising environmental footprints. Transparency in tracking materials and waste enables informed decisions. Our Millie bed on display was made by Michael in our Melbourne workshop. It was very exciting to make this piece thinking very consciously about every single step of the way, celebrating our beautiful materials, our drive to keep waste as minimal as possible, from the making all the way to the delivery on site.
